Congratulations to the 2025 Golden Globe Nominees!

These top titles were nominated across TV and film categories for the 82nd Golden Globe Awards ceremony, airing on January 5, 2025 at 7 p.m. CST.

On Monday, December 9, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced – with the help of Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut – the nominees for the Golden Globe Awards.

A24’s “The Brutalist*” is one of the leading films in terms of nominations, receiving seven in total including for Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama (Adrian Brody), Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture (Felicity Jones) and Best Director (Brady Corbet). Other Best Motion Picture – Drama nominees include “Conclave,” “Dune: Part Two” and “September 5.”

Focus Features’ “Conclave” received five additional nominations, including Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama (Ralph Fiennes) and Best Director (Edward Berger).

The NEON Rated film “Anora*” received five nominations in total, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy (Mikey Madison). FOX Searchlight’s “A Real Pain” also received a nomination for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, as well as three other nominations for Best Screenplay Best Actor – Musical or Comedy (Jesse Eisenberg) and Best Supporting Actor in any Motion Picture (Kieran Culkin). “Challengers,” and “Wicked” join the film in the Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category.

“Wicked” also joins an impressive lineup of films in the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category: “Alien: Romulus,” “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” “Deadpool & Wolverine,” “Gladiator II,” "Inside Out 2,” “Twisters” and “The Wild Robot.”

“Inside Out 2” and “The Wild Robot” are also in the running for Best Motion Picture – Animated category, joining “Memoir of a Snail*” and “Moana 2.”
