Synopsis

After their parents die, twins Grace and Gilbert struggle to find hope in their lives. Forcedly separated, Gilbert faces cruelty while Grace withdraws into her shell. As years pass, amidst new disappointments, Grace finds solace in an unlikely friendship with an eccentric elderly woman named Pinky.
