July 4th 

• Organize a barbecue and outdoor games like tug-of-war or a water balloon fight. Encourage attendees to show up to the film dressed in red, white and blue and provide themed snacks and drinks.
• If allowed and safe, coordinate a firework display in collaboration with local authorities after your movie screening. Ensure that all necessary permits and safety measures are in place.
• Set up booths or stalls where community artists can showcase their talents and sell patriotic-themed crafts, paintings or handmade items.

July 26th 

• Organize adaptive sports and games that can be enjoyed by people with disabilities and those without. This could include wheelchair basketball, adaptive yoga sessions or even blindfolded games to simulate various disabilities. Cap off all the fun with a relevant film screening.
• In conjunction with a relevant movie screening, host disability awareness workshops. Include programming that educates attendees about various disabilities, adaptive strategies and how to support and be more inclusive.
