Synopsis

A Hollywood director who's made a career out of profitable but frivolous comedies decides to make a movie of sociological and artistic importance, and, dressed as a hobo, takes to the road for research and to see how the other half lives. The Depression-era epic the filmmaker wants to make is called "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" which the Coen Brothers used as the title of their 2000 comedy.
