Synopsis
This documentary chronicles the rise of The Notic, an underground basketball collective that primarily consisted of first-generation Canadians and immigrants within the suburbs of Vancouver. The community pioneered the counterculture of streetball in reaction to the casual racism they encountered from high school basketball coaches.
