Movies continue to be an essential resource for teachers, but limited DVD equipment or polices related to the use of personal streaming often create barriers to access. Swank’s streaming library of 40,000+ movies and documentaries help overcome these barriers by providing a secure and legal source purpose-built for the educational environment.
“The Swank K-12 Video Streaming platform has an incredible library system for finding just the right movie for the content being taught. I particularly liked the ability for teachers to assign a URL link for students to view the movie or sections of the movie at home for homework.”

What is Swank K-12 Streaming?
Watch the video below to learn how our new streaming platform simplifies film distribution for your entire school!
How It Works:
Start with a curated collection of films and then add to it throughout the year.
Curated Collections
Choose from one of our three preset collections specifically curated for education based on the most frequently used films by schools across the country:
- Elementary Collection
- Middle School Collection
- High School Collection
- District Collection
Custom Title Requests
Teachers have access to search through thousands of films to identify the additional movies to be added to your collection throughout the year. And while our curated collections should be the majority of films your school will use, we understand that teachers are creative and new films become available throughout the year.
Hear What Our Customers Say
"It is wonderful because we no longer have to worry about teachers trying to stream from sites that are not allowed by our school district. Teachers can easily have the movie available for classroom use or to assign to students."
- Heidi McCurdy, Edward Little High School
