Synopsis

Writer-producer-director Julie Checkoway's portrait of a young artist as a driven man chronicles the story of Billy Pappas, an aspiring Baltimore artist who spent close to 10 years working on a hyperdetailed drawing of Marilyn Monroe. The title refers to Pappas' attempts to display his work for famed artist David Hockney.
