Synopsis

A 12-year-old Afghan girl (Marina Golbahari) poses as a boy in order to survive under the oppressive rule of the Taliban. Moving and lyrical winner of the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film and three awards at the Cannes Film Festival. First-time director Siddiq Barmak also wrote the script. The first Afghan film produced after the fall of the Taliban.
