Synopsis

At the dawn of the 1999 handover of Macau to Mainland China, two students (Endy Chow, Michael Tong) find themselves caught up in murder, pursued by mobsters and the police alike. When one of the student's father tries to send her back to the Mainland, the true story is revealed. Will the lovers find everlasting happiness in the escape? Or will their murderous misdeeds be discovered?
