Creature Feature

Carve out a spooktacular movie schedule this Halloween season by showing a selection of top new releases and scary movie classics that will fright and delight your entire student population. Before each showing, include a fun, themed activity – like pumpkin carving, fortune telling or horror movie trivia – to create a wickedly good time for your campus.

Tell Tales of the Dead

Focus on the past by partnering with a local historical society to discover your campuses’ haunted history. Many have information on the haunted histories of their communities. You can host a walking tour to visit haunted locales, or simply have a story time session before a screening of a Halloween flick.

Haunted Happenings

Haunted Happenings

What supernatural activity lingers in your campus community? Find out by inviting a team of paranormal researchers to search as they demonstrate their equipment and explain how everything works to attendees. They can also share stories about previous investigations.

Escape the Room

Provide your campus with all the fun and excitement of completing an escape room challenge without the scary price tag by DIYing a room or space right on your campus! Simply decide on a theme, craft your story and clues then watch the fun unfold! You could also see if a local commercial escape room will give you advice or lend you props free of charge in exchange for promotions at the event.

Halloween Carnival

Host a Halloween-themed carnival in conjunction with a spooktacular Halloween film! Invite acrobats, aerialists and tarot card readers to perform, feature fun games like boo-loon pop, pumpkin bowling or toilet paper mummy, and include lots of delicious treats to create an event your campus will never forget!

Spooky Speakeasy

Entertain your campus with a speakeasy-themed Halloween event! Hire a live DJ, create themed mocktails and include a costume contest with a grand prize.

Customer Spotlights

Disney Movie Event

"Our best movie event was our Halloween double feature, which we showed on our lawn.  We had a Disney Halloween movie first, an intermission with pizza, and ended with a scary movie.  We also served popcorn, cokes, and coffee all night. This was the night before Family Day, and I was told that parents made comments about how nice it was to see students watching a movie, on blankets, on our front lawn."

– Georgia College

“Students really enjoyed our Halloween program where we had a candy apple bar and Halloween arts & crafts while showing ‘Hocus Pocus.’”

– Saint Xavier University

“In October we did a Monster Movie Madness Month promotion. The entire month was filled with horror, thriller and Halloween-related movies. It was hugely successful!”

– University of Arizona

Candy Apples

“Halloween weekend we showed two movies on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We offered attendees free popcorn!”

– Michigan State University

"Students really enjoyed our fall-themed movie night where we provided an outdoor movie experience complete with candy, fall-themed crafts like creating a fall lantern and lawn games, and a costume contest."

- Columbus State Community College

“To gear up for Spooky Season, we hosted a ‘Cereal’ Killer Movie Night, where we ate cereal and watched the new ‘Scream.’ We had someone from the Criminal Justice Department on campus come speak to the students before the movie to talk about their program and even gave information about serial murderers. I wanted to get students involved, but also outreach with other departments on campus.”

- Navarro College

“For our Halloween movie night, we decorated different rooms as ‘haunted houses’ where students would Trick’r’Treat for their snacks before the movie.”

– Northern Arizona University
