Synopsis

In this comedy series from Danny McBride (HBO’s Vice Principals), celebrity televangelist Eli Gemstone (John Goodman) struggles to keep his emotionally-stunted children in check – and their big-money megachurch afloat. While eldest son Jesse (McBride) vies for control of their father’s empire, middle child Judy (Edi Patterson) fights for a seat at the table, and Kelvin (Adam Devine), the youngest, chafes under the pressure of Eli’s expectations. Continually embroiled in disagreements about the family business - season two finds our blessed Gemstone family threatened by outsiders from both the past and present who wish to destroy their empire.
