Synopsis

Returning for its third season, Divorce centers on ex-spouses Frances (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Robert (Thomas Haden Church), who, after more than a decade of marriage and two children, find themselves caught up in the lengthy process of unwinding their relationship. In Season 3, Frances and Robert are living independent lives, but still share an emotional and day-to-day connection through their children Tom (Charlie Kilgore) and Lila (Sterling Jerins). As the season begins, Frances has decided to start fresh by moving into an apartment in NYC. Following a fire at her Hastings gallery, Frances is in the process of looking for new opportunities in the art world, but soon realizes she may have to settle for a “job” instead of a career. Meanwhile, Robert’s new life with Jackie (Becki Newton) is moving forward at an unexpectedly rapid pace, leading him to question whether he has it in him to start all over again with a new family. With sharp, observant humor, Divorce mines the awkward moments and intense emotions of two people trying to embrace life’s changes – and move on with their lives – after their divorce.
