Synopsis

Filmmaker Louie Psihoyos and former dolphin trainer Richard O'Barry document the abuse of dolphins by fishermen in the Japanese coastal town of Taiji. In the 1960s, O'Barry enjoyed a lucrative career as a specialized animal trainer. He captured the dolphins that were used in the popular television series "Flipper" and taught them the tricks that made the show a hit. Four decades later, O'Barry has renounced his work as a trainer and dedicated his life to exposing the slaughter of dolphins.
